    October 24

Now lets get one thing straight....

.....George will never be Ringo Starr, Chunk will never be John Lennon, I will never be George Harrison and Lewie will never be Paul McCartney (although he probably could!), but there is one thing we will always be.....
    !!! TURMOIL !!!

We had probably our best gig to date at The Happy Frenchman on 13th October. Massive crowd, great atmosphere, we played ok although we were still only firing on 3 cylinders. Everyone that was there said it was a good gig, we were re-booked for next year straight away too. Success all round.

Saturday 14th October, The Railway Bell. Different venue, different crowd but oh, what a chuffing awsome atmosphere! As is often the case at any Turmoil gig, we managed to attract enough of the local eccentrics to warrant one of the craziest atmospheres. It started of quite sedately but within 15-20 minutes the place was heaving and the crowd were 'avin it!! FUCKING BIG TIME!!! They were dancing, singing, shouting, rolling on the floor...even moshing!! We played as tight a set as we have played recently, certainly as good as the night before. To top it off we have The Turmites! Our band of faithful travellers that come out rain or shine and watch us. Check the photo section to see some great photos taken by our great mate Keith. This guy eats, sleeps and drinks ROCK! And when he is not doing that he is behind the lens. So this time we got one of him (other than the infamous pool shot!). And check out the fantastic shot he got of Brenda doing her Kate Bush thing! Is that woman a hottie or what??!! Once she starts doing that dancing I lose all track of what I am supposed to be playing! Bren and Kirsten were making it hard for poor old Claire who is on crutches after sustaining an ankle break after spending the night at Chunks! She fell down the stairs.....apparantly...whatever!!!!

We now have a dozen or so dates confirmed for 2007 (see the giglist) and have just had a new date confirmed on the 30th December 2006 at The Mariner, Folkestone. Most people have plans for New Years Eve but as this is the night before I expect to see you there rocking the house down! We also have some merchandising going on too so make sure you are at the next gig so you can get your freebies!!

We are currently doing nothing until the next gig courtesy of the back injury I sustained at The Frenchman. Hopefully I will be fighting fit for the gig at the Brevet Bar (3rd Nov) and The Morehall (4th Nov) which I again hope to see you at.

For now though I bid you farewell,
    Take Care
