!! Hello Cyberfans !!

 

I trust that you are all keeping well. A week of highs and lows nears its end. Started on a high, going to see Motorhead at The Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone. Christ they are loud!! Lemmy didnt like the vocals much but sound out front was phenomenal! I attended this evening of havoc with Chunk, John and my neighbor Daz. Managed to lose Daz somehow during the evening but had a great time. Chunk even managed to pull this bird called Liz, who is alright to be honest, and really cheeky!! Having rocked there for two hours, Chunk, John, Liz and I headed back to the Harvey to consume more alcohol. At which point I was taken ill, heavig my guts up in the toilet. But that was just the start. Evidently it would seem the tonsilitis I had 3 months ago has come back with a vengeance. I was off sick Monday / Tuesday, made the effort to get back to work Weds / Thurs but had to come home sick today as I felt so crap. Lets hope it clears up soon.

 

Thursday night saw Turmoil return to the Happy Frenchman, Folkestone. Given the state of my health I approached the gig with some trepidation. In hindsight I needn'1 have worried. We pulled a good crowd with some special guest visitors too in Matt and Lara from Dayfall and Tom who is another Mr Gigger. We played a good set between 9pm-11.30pm and had em dancing and singing along. Awsome gig! So much so that we have been invited back to to play there on New Years Eve!! Now, previously we had decided not to play New Years Eve but this was too good an opportunity to turn down. It will be a good night and a chance to really capture some new fans. It makes for a good weekend too as we are playing the Mariner on the 30th December. It could be a messy weekend!!

 

Until those gigs, Turmoil will be in rehearsals, getting some new songs together. I have a gig on the 16th December at The Five Bells, Eastry, with my old band, Hit The Deck, which should be good. Other than that, nothing doing at the moment. There are a selection of photos from The Happy Frenchman that I will be adding on later so check them out.
